On 13th and 14th of June took place the monitoring visit of LIFE TRANSFER in Greece, in Athens and at transplant site in Amvrakikos gulf.
The Amvrakikos wetland is located in Ionian Sea and is one of the most ecologically important lagoon systems in the Mediterranean, covering about 25.000 hectares, including more than 20 coastal lagoons.
After the technical and administrative meeting in Athens, we went to the Logarou lagoons where HCMR showed the seagrass transplantation technique.
It was exciting and fruitful experience!
